Kleines Getriebe

"Kleines Getriebe” (2019) for ensemble consists of an extended unison of all voices,
dis­trib­uted across different octaves, with individual instruments dropping out in phases.
Al­though written as a single line, the music is internally polyphonic: arpeggiations and wide
in­ter­val­lic leaps make an underlying harmonic structure per­cept­ible.
Spon­tan­eous gestures repeatedly interrupt the unison.
